Tax and Spend
Cut the budget, cut the taxes and spend wisely.
I do not support spending on
unnecessary
discretionary projects or expanding government,
that results in higher property taxes, sales taxes, and/or new
taxes/fees which are currently under consideration by our commissioners.
- I oppose the current plan to once again increase the taxes on real property in

authority from the NC General Assembly to impose the Land Transfer tax, which

- I support fiscal responsibility in budgeting services and operations of
We all would like to see more parks, Sailing Centers at Jordan Lake, transportation services and government funded public awareness programs, but the reality is we need to provide for the necessities first, like resolving sewer issues in Goldston and support for our farmers and small businesses.
Let's get our priorities in line by providing for needs first. If we grow the economy properly the revenue for the discretionary projects will come.
