Protecting Our Rights
Sometimes it is said that
man cannot be trusted with the government of himself. Can he, then be
trusted with the government of others? Or have we found angels in the form
of kings to govern him? Let history answer this question.
Thomas Jefferson
The
signers of the Constitution were ordinary men who were proposing a
government in which the people ruled over those who governed.
The electors would be the ruling class and the elected would be the
servants.
The
Constitution and Bill of Rights was written to limit and restrict government
from interfering with the rights of citizens not to keep us from exercising
our rights.
I am a big advocate of protecting the rights and freedoms of our citizens, because I am a citizen like everyone else. There are very few things that I will be more passion about then the protection of our Constitutional rights and defending what's fair and just.
My
goal is to provide creative and practical solutions to problems that respect
the individuals’ rights, liberties and freedoms.
It’s about making things work for the citizens not the government.
